I am a Level III Celtic Reiki Practitioner and offer this for those who need. Please read the description below if you aren’t familiar with it.  I have worked in the healing profession since 1994 and have experience in helping clients with a variety of issues including panic attacks, stage fright, anxiety, low self esteem, confidence issues, grief and depression. This therapy promotes wellness and can heal a variety of ailments but there is no guarantee and clients are always advised to consult a doctor if physical symptoms are not alleviated. Both Celtic Reiki and SHEN can be very effective for low back pain, as the underlying emotional causes are gently released.

What is Celtic Reiki?

Celtic Reiki is a clothed, hands-on healing technique that is based in the belief that the body, mind and emotions are inextricably linked, and that in fact we store emotion in the cells of the body. This gentle therapy, conducted in a safe and nurturing environment, encourages the client to free up their emotions, and this can happen during the session or at a later stage. The practitioner places their hands on or above the body’s energy centres, which allows the body’s own natural healing to take place as stuck energies can be released. This lasts around 45 minutes. Results can simply manifest in a sense of unexplainable improvement in how the client is feeling emotionally or they can find they sleep better and find it easier to identify how they are feeling and to express their emotions. This is because the layers of emotion are being uncovered and the person can find they are freed even after many years from truama or pain, whether emotional or physical. This can be a powerful experience for some, others find it deeply relaxing as the body liberates itself from past emotional conditioning and thereby chronic conditions. Many find it immensely liberating as they regain a sense of connection and wholeness.

Celtic Reiki (pronounced Ray-Kee, which means “Universal Life Energy” ) is based in the belief that all beings have the ability to heal and this ability comes from the Universe itself. This universal energy is tapped into in a way that the body’s own natural healing resources are restored, using sacred symbols that the practitioner has received in their attunement. In the case of Usui Reiki these symbols are Japanese, in Celtic Reiki the wisdom and energy of Celtic Trees are used, using the symbols of the Celtic Tree alphabet, called the Tree Ogham. Each tree has a special healing quality (the ancient Celts believed that each tree has its own Spirit or Deva) and those who are drawn to trees or to the ancient Celts and Druids may find this especially suitable for them.
